Hello, My name is Brian and I’ve had the privilege of attending and participating in this event from it’s conception. I am the Community Outreach Coordinator for DC RECOVERY COMMUNITY ALLIANCE, were located at 5656A 3rd Street, NE, Washington, D.C. 20011. Our Peer Operated Center assist all WARDS within the District but our primary focus is in WARD 5. We are a NARCAN Distribution Center and offer Recovery Support Services to all of our clients. We offer additional PEER Certification trainings at our Center throughout the year that include Continuing Education Credits (C.E.U.’s) to help our PEERS stay informed and to better assists those we serve. We would love to reserve a table to hand out our life saving literature, NARCAN and Fentanyl strips. We will be demonstrating “mock” NARCAN overdose reversals to those that are interested that day.
